Breakfast Club
Primary School Free Breakfast Club
Free Breakfast Clubs provide primary school pupils with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day.
A good breakfast provides many benefits, including:
- Improves punctuality and attendance
- Offers social time and prepares pupils for the day ahead
- Increases concentration and improves behaviour
Breakfast Club arrival/opening times are as follows.
Doors open between 8am -8:30am - if you arrive after this time you will have to wait until school begins at 8:50am
Applying to attend Breakfast Club
An application form must be completed before a child can attend the Breakfast Club.
If your child is already registered with breakfast club and already attends, or is on the waiting list for a place, there is no need to reapply for September 2026. All existing registrations with the school will be carried over to the new term. If, however, your child will be attending a different primary school, a new application will be required.
One application per household is required. If applying for several children, you will have the opportunity to list several children and select the school each child attends.
You will receive an email response for all successful applications.
If a child you are applying for may be eligible for additional support whilst accessing the breakfast club provision please contact the school upon completion of the application to discuss their needs.
Medically Prescribed Dietary Requirement
Does your primary age child have a food allergy/intolerance or a medical condition, which would require them to need a Medically Prescribed Diet? If so, Catering Services has an online facility where a medically prescribed diet can be requested. Register a medically prescribed dietary requirement.
Please note: We procure food that is absent of nuts as a declared ingredient. However, even with proactive cross contamination control measures, multiple handling processes in the supply chain do present the potential for trace ingredients to remain present. We cannot control the food brought into the Dining environment by other customers.
A residual risk remains that food provided by RCT Catering Services ‘may contain traces of nuts and nut derivatives’, and customers who have a nut allergy should consider the risk before purchasing/consuming any food.
Non-Attendance
Failure to attend regularly to breakfast club may result in your child/ren being removed from the list so that other children are able to access the place.
