Croeso i Dosbarth Dwynwen

In our class, we nurture children through meaningful, play-based learning experiences that support their development in a natural and engaging way. Our priority is to create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where children feel connected, confident, and ready to learn. Through consistent routines, positive relationships, and clear expectations, we help children build resilience, independence, and a strong sense of well-being.

In Literacy, Language and Communication, we focus on name recognition, early reading and writing skills, listening and speaking, and developing a love of books. In Maths and Numeracy, we support children in learning to count, recognise numbers, solve simple problems, and use mathematical language through play.

We continually observe and assess the children to understand their individual strengths and next steps, allowing us to tailor learning to meet their needs. Our approach is underpinned by our school values: self-belief, respect, honesty, equality, kindness, responsibility, and empathy.
