Sports Ambassadors Project- We won £250
We have been completing a project with RCT. We had training with RCT Sport ambassadors and the URDD. We had to complete a project, which included working with the children in both the FPH and KS2. We developed a range of games, which we have been teaching them on a weekly basis. Each year group takes it in turns to teach the games to the children. We developed a range of games that included the Welsh language, RCT are so impressed with our work, we won a £250 grant to select a range of toys to help us with our games!
All the hours that we donate to helping the other children will be added up and then we have the chance of attending RCT awards ceremony!
To see the video we made showcasing our work and ideas please see the video below.

Training with the Urdd
Pupils from our Healthy Schools Committee and Criw Cymraeg took part in a fantastic training session led by the Urdd, where they learnt how to lead and facilitate a range of playground games across the school.
The morning was packed with fun, skills-based activities designed to promote teamwork, physical activity, and the use of the Welsh language in everyday play. Our young leaders are now ready to bring these games to life during break times, helping to make playtimes more active, inclusive, and bilingual!
It was an exciting and engaging experience that empowered pupils to take the lead and share their enthusiasm for health and Welsh culture with others.

Healthy Snacks in School
The Healthy school Committee ran a Healthy Snack Poster Competition for all of the children which they launched as part of their assembly. The 4 winning designs have been selected and will be used as part of our Healthy Snack Bar every Friday. Please see a copy of one of the posters below.
Below is also a poster showing which snacks are permitted for play time snacks in school. We have tried to keep it simple and easy for all to remember.
