Summer Term - Crawl, Wriggle, Fly

In this topic, we will explore the fascinating world of minibeasts and discover more about how to keep our bodies healthy and active.
The children will observe minibeasts in their habitats, learn about their life cycles and find out what they need to survive. We will also explore the signs of summer and spend lots of time learning outdoors.
Alongside this, we will learn about the importance of exercise, healthy eating, sleep and movement through a range of fun, practical activities. Through investigation, play and first-hand experiences, the children will develop their understanding of the natural world and how to look after themselves.
